How can I register?
You can register for Yankee Dental Congress in one of three ways:
Online
Online registration is highly recommended. Registering online on our secure site provides the following benefits:

- Group registration is available
- Register 4 dental professionals from the same office and the 5th goes FREE
- Save Money
Fax Faxed registrations must be submitted using an official YDC pre-registration form. Forms must be filled out completely with credit card payment information. The Yankee Dental Congress fax number is 508-743-9677. As part of YDC's continuing effort to go green there will be a $10 processing fee.
Mail
Mailed registration must be submitted using an official YDC pre-registration form. Forms must be filled out completely and form of payment (check, money order, or credit card information) must be enclosed.

Can I update or add courses to my registration after it has been submitted?
Updates will be accepted after an official Yankee registration number has been assigned—you must have this number to add courses or make changes. Registrants can update their registrations to add as many courses as you like without a service charge. Registration updates can be made online or via fax or mail using a YDC 2013 registration update form.
What is the cancellation policy?
Requests for cancellations/refunds must be in writing and accompanied by all registration materials, including badges and tickets, if received.
Refund requests must be postmarked no later than:
January 11, 2013 - For lectures, workshops, events, and general registration
December 28, 2012 - For hands-on courses
After these dates no refunds - including absences due to illness, late arrivals, weather, or parking difficulties - will be granted.
Cancellation Processing Fees:
The minimum refund allowed is $10.00. Refunds will be issued in March 2013.
NEW Can I pre-register for "No Charge" courses?
Pre-registration is required for all No Charge courses listed in the YDC Pre-Registration Program Book or www.yankeedental.com online listings. Your seat will be held for 10 minutes; after that, those without tickets will be seated according to available space. When the room is filled, no additional people will be admitted due to fire department regulations. If you have not pre-registered, please be prepared to select an alternate session to attend.
How are CE credits assigned?
General Attendance Credits
MA Dentists: For the 2014 license renewal cycle, CE credits obtained between April 1, 2012 and March 31, 2014, including a total of 5 credits for general attendance at a conference during that period, are allowed.
MA Dental Hygienists: For the 2013 license renewal cycle, CE credits obtained between April 1, 2011 and March 31, 2013, including a total of 4 credits for general attendance at a conference during that period, are allowed.

 The Massachusetts Dental Society is an ADA CERP Recognized Provider. ADA CERP is a service of the American Dental Association to assist dental professionals in identifying quality providers of continuing dental education. ADA CERP does not approve or endorse individual courses or instructors, nor does it imply acceptance of credit hours by boards of dentistry. Concerns or complaints about a CE provider may be directed to the provider or to ADA CERP at www.ada.org/goto/cerp.
CEU Credits Credit is assigned by the MDS on an hourly basis, subject to final approval by the Board of Registration in Dentistry (BORID) in each state. Lectures, workshops, and hands-on courses receive one credit per hour (rounded down to the nearest hour). For courses not related to patient care, please contact BORID for allowed credit.

NBC Credits The formal continuing education programs of the Yankee Dental Congress are ADA CERP approved and qualify for NBC continuing education credits. Upon completing courses at Yankee, Certified Dental Technicians (CDT) and Recognized Graduates (RG) should print a transcript of their courses at the CE Pavilion at Yankee, and submit this directly to the NBC. (Transcripts may also be downloaded from the www.yankeedental.com website) It is the responsibility of the technician wanting to receive approved credit to submit this documentation to NBC before their renewal period, while keeping a copy for their personal records. Yankee Dental Congress does not submit transcripts on your behalf. DANB Credits DANB Certificants who attend or participate in Continuing Dental Education (CDE) courses sponsored by the American Dental Association Continuing Education Recognition Program (ADA CERP), may be able to use these courses to renew their DANB Certification. It is the responsibility of the Certificant to ensure that courses they take meet DANB’s Recertification Requirements, and that the CDE credits are reported in the appropriate DANB CDE categories, as described in DANB’s Recertification Requirements. A copy of DANB’s Recertification Requirements is available at: www.danb.org For CDE questions contact DANB by phone at 1-800-367-3262.
How can I get a certificate of the CE credits I earn at Yankee? The Continuing Education (CE) Pavilion is a free service for all YDC attendees. You can print a certificate with general attendance credits and courses taken at the meeting in either one of two ways (please use only one method):
On-site: Visit the CE Pavilion located in the North Lobby and satellite pavilions located in the Exhibit Hall.
Online: For YDC 2013 credits, visit www.yankeedental.com through November 1, 2013.
Continuing Education Registry Members
Members of the MDS Continuing Education Registry who use the Yankee CE Pavilion or Web site will have their YDC credits recorded automatically. Otherwise, CE registry members may record their credits themselves by using the MDS registry Web site or by mailing a written form to the Continuing Education Registry, Massachusetts Dental Society, Two Willow Street, Suite 200, Southborough, MA 01745. Please be sure to use only one method to avoid duplication.
Can I purchase a recording of YDC 2012 or past conventions?

How can I request accommodations for special needs?
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, YDC will make all reasonable effort to accommodate persons with disabilities at the meeting. How will I know if supplies are needed for a course?
Should a course require that attendees bring supplies, the list of necessary supplies will be indicated on the course ticket, as well as listed in the course descriptions found on www.yankeedental.com.
My course is indicated as an "off-site" course. How do I get to an off-site location?
Busing to and from the BCEC is provided to attendees who register for off-site courses. Off-site buses depart the BCEC one-half hour before the scheduled course start time and return at the end of the course.
What days and hours are the Exhibit Hall open?
Thursday, January 31 9:30am-5:30pm Friday, February 1 9:30am-5:30pm Saturday, February 2 9:30am-4:00pm

Restaurant Reservation Service
Make dinner reservations quickly and conveniently with the Concierge Service located in the North Lobby of the BCEC. This service includes a listing of restaurants by cuisine and neighborhood and their menus.
Lost and Found
BCEC If you find an item in the convention center, please turn it in at the Welcome Center in the center of the North Lobby. If you lose an item, please check at the Welcome Center for assistance. At the end of the show, any unclaimed items will be turned in to the BCEC security team.
Hotels If you find an item in a hotel, please turn it in at the Front Desk. If you lose an item at a hotel, please check at the Front Desk for assistance.
Business Services
FedEx Kinko’s is the exclusive business center for all show exhibitors and attendees at the BCEC. The FedEx Kinko’s Business Center is located near the North Lobby, Level 1. For services and more information, visit https://psg.kinkos.com/conventions/bcec.
Coat Check
Coat check service will be available Thursday through Saturday. Coat check stations are located in the North Lobby and at the East and West entrances on Level 1 of the BCEC.
Food Courts & Vending
- Food courts will be located on the Exhibit Hall floor
- Additional food vending will be available throughout the building
ATMs
ATMs are located throughout the BCECin the North Lobby, Southeast Lobby C, and Food Court.
Is child care provided at Yankee?
