An Afternoon with Author B.A. Shapiro
1:00 – 2:30 pm
B.A. Shapiro is author of the New York Times bestseller, The Art Forger, a literary thriller about the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist that spans three centuries of forgers, art thieves, and obsessive collectors. It remains the largest unsolved art heist in history. She is also the author of 5 suspense novels: The Safe Room, Blind Spot, See No Evil, Blameless, and Shattered Echoes—as well as the nonfiction book The Big Squeeze. Shapiro began her writing career after the birth of her second child. Her mother asked “if you had one year to live, how would you want to spend it?” Her answer—write a novel and spend more time with her children. And that’s what she did.
