Although we rely heavily on the spoken word, knowing how to read body language helps us learn more information. Nonverbal communication carries 60-75% of the weight of a message and sometimes contradicts the spoken word. Join Carolyn Finch, internationally recognized Body Language Expert and author of Oops! Your Body Language is Showing! for this fun yet informative session. Carolyn is host of radio’s Nutrition Monday and Change Your Body Change Your Life Blog Talk and has been featured on the Ellen Show, MSNBC, VH1, and in Redbook and Cosmopolitan Magazines.

Museum of Fine Arts Tour

The Museum of Fine Arts is one of the most comprehensive art museums in the world with over 450,000 works of art. On display is an incredible collection of European Impressionist paintings, including one of the largest collections of Monets outside of Paris. The MFA also holds one of the richest Degas collections in the world, not to mention Asian and Old Kingdom Egyptian collections, classical art, Buddhist temple, and medieval sculpture and tapestries.

Full day (8:30 am - 5:30 pm) - $60

Are you wondering how to entertain your children during Yankee? Whether you are attending classes or perusing the Exhibit Hall, Parents in a Pinch, Inc. is there for you—offering on-site childcare. Children can choose from a wide variety of organized activities, arts and crafts, toys, books, and games. The childcare providers are background checked, trained in childhood health and safety, and are enthusiastic, creative, and energetic. Their experience, expertise, and program planning skills always make the day both fun and safe. Walk-ins allowed if space permits; pre-registration is encouraged. Subject to cancellation if sufficient enrollment is not achieved.
