How can I register?
YDC 33 registration is now open!
You can register for Yankee Dental Congress in one of three ways:
Online
Online registration is highly recommended. Registering online on our secure site provides the following benefits:
Fax
Faxed registrations must be submitted using an official YDC pre-registration form. Forms must be filled out completely with credit card payment information.
Mail
Mailed registration must be submitted using an official YDC pre-registration form. Forms must be filled out completely and form of payment (check, money order, or credit card information) must be enclosed.
Can I update or add courses to my registration after it has been submitted?
Updates will be accepted after an official Yankee registration number has been assigned—you must have this number to add courses or make changes. Registrants can update their registrations to add as many courses as you like without a service charge. Registration updates can be made online or via fax or mail using a YDC 33 registration update form.
What is the cancellation policy?

After these dates no refunds - including absences due to illness, late arrivals, weather, or parking difficulties - will be granted.
Cancellation Processing Fees:
The minimum refund allowed is $10.00. Refunds will be mailed in March 2008.
Can I pre-register for "No Charge" courses?
Preregistration is not allowed for No Charge courses unless otherwise indicated in the YDC Pre-Registration Program Book or www.yankeedental.com online listings.
How are CE credits assigned?
General Attendance Credits
Dentists: 5 general attendance CEUs are given to dentists attending Yankee Dental Congress. A maximum of 8 general attendance credits is allowed for each two-year cycle (January 1, 2008, to December 31, 2009).
Hygienists: A maximum of 4 general attendance CEUs is allowed for each two-year cycle (January 1, 2007, to December 31, 2008).
The Board of Registration in Dentistry in Massachusetts is currently reviewing the number of credits allowed for general attendance and is in the process of making changes to rules and regulations.

The Massachusetts Dental Society is an ADA CERP recognized provider.
CEU Credits
Credit is assigned by the MDS on an hourly basis, subject to final approval by the Board of Registration in Dentistry (BORID) in each state. Lectures and workshops receive one credit per hour (rounded down to the nearest hour). Hands-on courses receive two credits per one hour. For courses not related to patient care, please contact BORID for allowed credit. Please note: Two credits for one hour in hands-on courses do not apply for Maine, NBC, or DANB. Dental assistants must complete a YDC CE form and send it to DANB for approval of courses.
NBC Credits
Certified dental technicians will be granted NBC (National Board for Certification in Dental Laboratory Technology) continuing education credit for an NBC-approved course when they sign in with their name, CDT number, and address on the NBC Continuing Education Roster.
AGD Credits
The formal continuing education programs of the Yankee Dental Congress are accepted by AGD for Fellowship/Mastership credit. AGD number is 219251.
DANB Credits
"DANB" notation indicates that a course appears to meet certain specifications as described in the DANB Recertification Guidelines. However, all CEUs are subject to the approval of DANB and licensure policies in each state.
How can I get a certificate of the CE credits I earn at Yankee?
The Continuing Education (CE) Pavilion is a free service for all YDC attendees. You can print a certificate with general attendance credits and courses taken at the meeting in either one of two ways (please use only one method):
On-site: Visit the CE Pavilion located in the North Lobby and satellite pavilions located in the exhibit hall.
Online: For YDC 32 credits, visit www.yankeedental.com through March 31, 2007.
How can I request accommodations for special needs?
In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, YDC will make all reasonable effort to accommodate persons with disabilities at the meeting. Please submit your request in writing no later than December 19, 2007, to Lori Robinson, Massachusetts Dental Society, Two Willow Street, Suite 200, Southborough, MA 01745.
How will I know if supplies are needed for a course?
Should a course require that attendees bring supplies, the list of necessary supplies will be indicated on the back of the course ticket, as well as listed in the course descriptions found on www.yankeedental.com.
My course is indicated as an "off-site" course. How do I get to an off-site location?
Busing to and from the BCEC is provided to attendees who register for off-site courses. Off-site buses depart the BCEC one-half hour before the scheduled course start time and return at the end of the course.
