Jessica Wilson, MPH is an international speaker, trainer, and educator focused on infection prevention and infection control compliance. She is also an instrument management specialist for Hu-Friedy Mfg. Co.
This course will introduce the three elements of hand hygiene including hand washing, hand antisepsis, and skin care, in accordance with CDC Guidelines. Attendees will learn how using the proper infection control protocols and hand hygiene products can help prevent disease transmission. In addition, attendees will learn how to optimize the quality of water that you deliver to your patients.

  • Gain a thorough understanding of proper hand hygiene
  • Identify strategies to minimize skin irritation and dryness
  • Discuss the importance for your practice to “clean” and “maintain” water lines
  • Compare dental unit water line technologies and treatments available to achieve recommended water quality level
