MCCA’s Dining in the Neighborhood Complimentary Trolley Service
This service is available on Friday, January 28, 2011 only
LUNCHTIME TROLLEY SERVICE:
Dining while at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center: You can stay in for lunch or go out for lunch. You make the choice, dining on-site or “Dining in the Neighborhood”.
1. Choose a restaurant from a list of approximately 19 local restaurants
2. Call ahead to reserve a seat using the phone number provided (or stop by the trolley desk and we’ll make the call for you). Calling ahead is strongly recommended.
3. Make a note of the trolley route that your restaurant is on. Trolleys leave every ten-fifteen minutes during lunch hours.
4. Board your Trolley from the BCEC’s North Lobby (Summer Street).
5. You will be dropped off at a bus stop near your restaurant. Enjoy your lunch.
6. After you eat, return to the same bus stop and you will be picked up and taken back to the BCEC. (Please note that trolleys will only pick up until 3:00 p.m.)
DINNER TROLLEY SERVICE:
Dining while at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center: What are you doing for dinner tonight? Take the trolley service and try one of the restaurants in the Neighborhood.
1. Choose a restaurant from a list of approximately 19 local restaurants
2. Call ahead to reserve a seat using the phone number provided (or stop by the trolley desk and we’ll make the call for you). Calling ahead is strongly recommended.
3. Make a note of the trolley route that your restaurant is on. Trolleys leave every ten-fifteen minutes during dinner hours.
4. Board your Trolley from the BCEC’s North Lobby (Summer Street).
5. You will be dropped off at a bus stop near your restaurant. Enjoy your dinner.
6. After you eat, return to the same bus stop and you will be picked up and taken back to the BCEC. (Please note that trolleys will only pick up until 8:30 p.m.)

Amrheins — South Boston's oldest and most well-known restaurant has been serving classic American Cuisine since 1890. It features the oldest hand-carved bar in America and was the first pub in Boston to serve draft beer. Seats 180. (617) 268-6189

Boston Beer Garden — Boston’s version of the hip, cosmopolitan bars that have sprung up in Dublin over the past decade. From wings to burgers and fries to pasta and hearty fare, there’s something for everyone on the menu. Laid-back, relaxed atmosphere with french doors that open up onto the street and multiple TVs. The Playwright — The Playwright Bar & Cafe features an extensive menu including items like NY sirloin, pasta primavera, burgers, and sandwiches. Anthony's Pier 4 —World-famous Anthony’s Pier 4 has become synonymous with the very finest seafood dishes while offering a spectacular view of Boston harbor and the city skyline. A New England favorite, Anthony's Pier 4's featured lobsters are caught by its own lobstering company, and its award-winning wines are selected by an expert wine buyer to compliment menu selections. Aura —Located in the lobby of the Seaport Hotel, Aura features locally inspired, seasonally influenced cuisine served in a welcoming ambience. Aura’s menu has a special emphasis on seafood, and it was named “Best Restaurant, Upscale Seafood” by Boston Magazine, and has received the Wine Spectators Award of Excellence and the AAA Four Diamond Award. The Barking Crab Restaurant —Not the “typical” Boston seafood restaurant, the Barking Crab offers the casual atmosphere of a coastal clam shack in a funky urban setting, with a marina alongside for easy access by water. The menu concentrates on fresh seafood, but there’s also plenty of other offerings to delight all appetites, including vegetarians. The Daily Catch —The Daily Catch is known to provide Boston’s freshest fish prepared exquisitely with family-held Sicilian recipes. Legal Test Kitchen —Boston landmark Legal Sea Foods has opened a hip, new establishment called Legal Test Kitchen, or LTK. Set on the waterfront, the glitzy new space is all about plasma TVs, digital menus, and tableside iPod docks. The menu ranges from sushi to Asian-inspired seafood to soups and salads. Seats 200. Atlantic Beer Garden – The Atlantic Beer Garden is one of the many recent additions to Boston’s Seaport District. The restaurant currently boasts an oceanfront patio with American fare that ranges from stuffed burgers to seafood pastas.
