Patient acceptance is determined by more than the dentist’s communication and clinical skills. The assistant, hygienist, and front desk staff play an important role as to whether a patient accepts or rejects the treatment plan. The team approach for educating patients on treatment options, choosing the right words, earning patient trust, and being a value driven practice renders a higher case acceptance. This course includes role playing scenarios that invite attendees to learn the basic techniques for getting patients to say “yes.” It is especially helpful to individuals new to the profession and to those wanting a refresher.
