J. Tonelli, DMD has been a member of the MDS since 1980 following graduation from Tufts School of Dental Medicine. He maintains a private practice in N. Reading, Ma. He is a lead faculty member at the Pankey Institute in Key Biscayne, Florida.

The purpose of this course is to give attendees a basic understanding of the Pankey philosophy and how it can be implemented into your practice. The instructor will review the systems that will assist in establishing necessary practice management techniques. Attendees will review a complex restorative case from start to finish and discuss how this patient was handled from the first phone call to continued hygiene recall over the years. Attendees will also discuss decision making on when to recommend the full treatment plan was handled because of patient hesitation. This course will review the preclinical preparation, the preparation, the matrices used to create a predictable result, the material decision making, and the long term follow up.
