The pandemic has led many dental professionals to face stressors and challenges in their personal and professional lives. The reopening process has led to many policy, practice and healthcare-related changes. All of these shifts have resulted in downstream behavioral health effects that have been hard for many to identify, cope and heal from. This course is intended to both examine these challenges and talk about strategies for managing these unprecedented times.

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • Explore the “downstream” pandemic impact on various life domains
  • Discuss the increase in personal and professional stressors
  • Examine unique challenges that dental professionals have experienced
  • Describe the maladaptive coping strategies that may have been exacerbated
  • Apply lessons that have been learned to increase career longevity
  • Evaluate what positive changes could be made in both life and practices

Recommended Audience: Assistant, Dentist, Hygienist, Office, Technician
