Ashley Ciapciak, DMD graduated magna cum laude from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. Upon graduation, Dr. Ciapciak joined her family’s dental practice, Brede Ciapciak Dental, a 5-star dental practice in Needham, Mass that prides itself on its lifelong relationships with local patients and their families. Upon joining the practice, Dr. Ciapciak helped the staff (including her father, a practitioner of 40 years) transition into digital dentistry, implementing intraoral scanning in place of physical impressions. Dr. Ciapciak is especially passionate about dental mission trips to the Agape International Orphanage in Hyderabad, India, and treatment of geriatric and special needs patients.

In this course, attendees will learn about some of the key considerations to evaluate when deciding to go digital and how a practitioner of 40 years was convinced. Turns out, old dentists can learn new tricks! Attendees will also learn the key steps for a successful transition to digital including, how to train the team, adjust internal processes, and incorporate your new offering into your marketing strategy.

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • Understand what factors are needed to evaluate when considering making the move to intraoral scanning
  • Learn how this transition can work for every practice, including a 40-year old practice that ultimately made the decision
  • Identify key steps for a successful transition
