Valerie Dangler, RDH has spent 28 years in the dental industry serving as a Dental Assistant, Office Manager, Registered Dental Hygienist, Hygiene Educator, Regional Operations Manager, and Director of Hygiene. As a clinician, international speaker, and educator, Valerie trains dental teams how to implement new innovations and technology that enhance both the patient experience and standard of care, while contributing to revenue growth for Private Practices and DSO’s across the country. A proud recipient of the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award, Valerie graduated from Northern Arizona University with a Bachelor of Science and received an AAS Degree in Dental Hygiene from Rio Salado College. She is a licensed Registered Dental Hygienist in multiple states and received her laser certification from The Academy of Laser Dentistry. Val is a Faculty Educator for Biolase and Global Faculty at Align Technologies. She is a past President of the Georgia Dental Hygienists Association, a reputable industry KOL for multiple dental organizations, and member of the Dental Hygiene Coding Committee.
Kristy James, RDH is your friendly hygienist next door. She has spent over 18 years as a Registered Dental Hygienist working in a wide variety of dental offices. Kristy has always practiced full time and always been fully committed to providing her patients with the highest level of care. She has been using lasers for over 14 years and couldn’t imagine practicing without them. She is a valued consultant and trainer at Biolase and has been since 2012. Her passion and commitment to excellence compel her to keep sharing her knowledge in each encounter.

During this course, the instructor will highlight the latest trends in dentistry that will improve the way we practice dental hygiene. The instructor will focus on the introduction to diode lasers and evaluate the significance lasers have in today’s comprehensive model of care.
