Placing implants can be a scary idea for general dentists as we are typically not trained to do so during dental school. Those who do residencies often only place a handful of implants, if any. This course aims to take the fear away by teaching general dentists about the case selection, treatment planning, case design, and most importantly 3D guided placement of single and multi dental implants using surgical stents.

Please note: $29 Non Member Fee NO CHARGE for MDS Members- Registration Required.

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • Determine which implant cases to take on
  • Treatment plan cases using 3D driven design of the final restoration
  • Understand how to merge a CT scan and digital impression to design a surgical stent for guided implant surgery
  • Explain the advantages and disadvantages of guided implant surgery
  • Manage complications and avoid making common mistakes by avoiding certain cases
