Provisional restorations should do more than just cover a prepared tooth. When made correctly, they function in harmony with the rest of the mouth keeping occlusion and periodontal health stable, keeping your patient comfortable, and providing you with a predictable outcome for insert day.  This hands-on course will create a stepwise approach using dentoforms to fabricate beautiful provisional restorations that are functional and predictable.

In this course attendees will:
  • Understand the importance of provisional occlusion and harmony within the periodontal system
  • Create provisionals that consistently meet quality standards using a systemic approach
  • Fabricate beautiful provisional restorations with the correct armamentarium
  • Compare the different cements available and which ones meet the needs of your treatment
  • Identify common issues with provisionals such as perforations and short margins
This course is also offered on Friday, 2:00 - 5:00 pm, 450RH
Recommended Audience: Assistant, Dentist
