Daniel Pompa, DDS is a guest faculty at NYU College of Dentistry, a seminar series speaker and consultant for the American Dental Association, as well as an inventor, having been issued a U.S. Patent for his innovative work in the field of dental implantology.

Today there are more medically compromised patients being treated in our offices than ever before. As a result, a more detailed medical history and medical evaluation should be taken prior to beginning treatment. In this course, the instructor will describe the "Top 10" essential drugs needed to create a medical emergency kit for your office. In addition, we will discuss three basic tests that can easily be performed to help in the physical diagnosis of a patients medical status.

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • Recognize and manage the most frequent life-threatening emergencies
  • Implement three simple chair-side, non-invasive tests to help avoid an emergency
  • Determine when to administer the essential “Top 10” emergency drugs
  • Utilize a systematic approach for each emergency depicted on color-coded cards
