Upon completing courses at Yankee, Certified Dental Technicians (CDT) and Recognized Graduates (RG) should print a transcript of their courses, and submit this directly to the NBC. (Transcripts may be downloaded from the www.yankeedental.com website) It is the responsibility of the technician wanting to receive approved credit to submit this documentation to NBC before their renewal period, while keeping a copy for their personal records. Yankee Dental Congress does not submit transcripts on your behalf.

It is the responsibility of the Certificant to ensure that courses they take meet DANB’s Recertification Requirements, and that the CDE credits are reported in the appropriate DANB CDE categories, as described in DANB’s Recertification Requirements. DANB does not accept general attendance and/or Exhibit Hall Floor attendance CDE credit.

To ensure you receive continuing education (CE) credit for your courses, please note the following guidelines:
Badge Scanning:
It is your responsibility to be on time to scan your RFID-enabled name badge upon entry into each course. The scan will automatically confirm your attendance at each course, ensuring efficient enrollment confirmation, and eliminating the need for course tickets.
Course Duration and Arrival Times:
- For courses two-plus hours long, you must arrive within the first 20 minutes to be scanned in and receive credit.
- For courses one hour long, you must arrive within the first 10 minutes to be scanned in and receive credit.
Late Arrivals:
If you arrive after the specified time window for scanning, your attendance will not be recorded, making you ineligible to claim continuing education (CE) credit for that session. Late arrivals do not qualify for a refund from the Yankee Dental Congress.
To receive CE credits: You must be registered and scanned in, then you will need to log in to the Yankee website to add your CE credits by inputting the course’s secret code.
To receive the secret code for your course(s):
You must stay until the course concludes. Scanning out of the classroom is not required, as the secret code serves as proof that you attended the entire session.
We do not provide transportation to off-site courses. Please see the bus schedule (link coming soon) for public transportation options.
