Volunteer Opportunities

Welcome Committee

Special Guest Lounge Host

  • Welcome guests and check their badges as they arrive for breakfast and lunch. Clinician and volunteer breakfasts and lunches will be served on the Exhibit Floor at the Clinician Lounge Thursday through Saturday. 
  • Time Commitment Required: 2-3 hours onsite.
Clinicians/VIP Desk
  • Distribute packets for VIPs and clinicians at the Special Guest Desk in the BCEC and distribute ribbons for various committees and VIPs.
  • Check in scouts and distribute scout passes.
  • Time Commitment Required: 2-3 hours onsite.
Special Events
  • Awards Ceremony
  • Time Commitment Required: 2-3 hours onsite.
Information Booth Host
  • Staff one of the many information booths throughout the MCEC, and answer attendee questions.
  • Time Commitment Required: Minimum of 3 hours onsite.
Day Captain
  • Check in volunteers upon arrival at Yankee Dental. 
  • Make sure volunteers (Room Coordinators) are stationed in each course to collect attendee course tickets.
  • Make sure volunteers (Presiding Chairs) are stationed to greet and introduce speakers.
  • Time Commitment Required: full day onsite.
Presiding Chair
  • Contact speakers and room coordinators in assigned courses. 
  • Introduce the speaker onsite. 
  • Time Commitment Required: length of course
Room Coordinator
  • Make sure course room is set properly per speaker requests. 
  • Time Commitment Required: length of course

NOTE: There will be no more paper tickets for course entry. All badges will be scanned electronically upon entry.

Registration Committee 

Registration Assistants
  • Help support the registration process behind the counter by distributing tickets, badges, badge holders, and restocking program books.
  • Time Commitment Required: Half-day shifts
Floor Walkers
  • Assist in keeping the lines moving by directing attendees to appropriate registration areas.
  • Time Commitment Required: 2-4 to half days

Exhibit Committee

  • Assist Yankee personnel exhibitor registration and exhibit hall traffic builders. Tasks can include monitor exhibit hall courses and crowd control.  
  • Time Commitment Required: 2-4 to half days
