Yankee Social Media Giveaway Official Rules
NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.
1. Eligibility
The Yankee Dental Congress Social Media Giveaways (the “Giveaway”) are open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry. You must be registered for the current Yankee Dental Congress event to be eligible to win. Employees, officers, and directors of the Massachusetts Dental Society, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling, and their respective spouses, regardless of where they reside) and individuals living in the same household, whether or not related, are not eligible to enter or win. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.
2. Sponsor
The Giveaway is sponsored by the Massachusetts Dental Society, Two Willow Street, Southborough, MA 01745 (“Sponsor”). This Giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by, or associated with, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or any other social media platform.
3. How to Enter
To enter, follow the instructions outlined in the Giveaway social media post on an official Yankee Dental Congress social media page (Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn). Entry methods may include liking the post, commenting, sharing, tagging friends, or other actions as specified. While there is no limit to the number of entries an individual can submit, each participant is eligible to win only one (1) prize per Yankee Dental Congress event year.
4. Giveaway Period
The start and end dates and times for each Giveaway (the “Giveaway Period”) will be specified in the individual social media post. All entries must be received during the specified Giveaway Period to be eligible.
5. Winner Selection
Winners will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period. The drawing will be conducted by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to the Giveaway. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
6. Prize
Prizes will be specified in each Giveaway post and may include items such as tickets to the Yankee Friday Night Concert, registration for a future Yankee Dental Congress, or gift cards provided by event sponsors. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash substitution is permitted, except at the Sponsor’s discretion. The winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes and any other costs associated with prize acceptance and use.
7. Winner Notification and Verification
Winners will be contacted directly via direct message on the social media platform where the Giveaway was held. The winner must respond within five (5) days of being notified by us as a winner. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond within the specified time period, or is found to be ineligible (including verification that the winner is registered for the current Yankee Dental Congress), the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected. Winners may be required to provide proof of registration for Yankee Dental Congress before the prize is awarded.
8. General Conditions
By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity of the Giveaway. By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless the Massachusetts Dental Society, its affiliates, and the social media platforms from any and all liability associated with this Giveaway.
