In this course, we will discuss several surgical approaches in dealing with challenges we often encounter in anterior cosmetic region implant therapy. Implant treatments in the anterior region are generally more challenging than the treatment at the posterior region. It requires extensive experience and techniques to handle not only white (teeth) restoration, but also the pink (soft tissue) restoration. Some situations, such as severe atrophied alveolar ridge from either congenital reasons or severe periodontal disease, will make the cases even more difficult. With presentations of our real cases, we will discuss some surgical techniques to overcome these difficulties and achieve better clinical outcomes.
