This course will provide an in-depth review of evidence-based strategies for caries risk assessment, prevention, and patient-specific oral health care planning. Attendees will examine the multifactorial nature of dental caries and learn how to interpret clinical and behavioral indicators to assess individual risk. The session will outline practical methods for building personalized oral hygiene instruction programs that support sustained behavior change and preventive care. Emphasis will be placed on selecting appropriate oral care products and adjunctive tools based on clinical findings, patient risk levels, and current scientific literature. Attendees will leave with a structured approach to designing tailored oral health regimens that align with best practices in caries management and patient education.
