In this course, we will be discussing opportunities that are available to dentists and future dentists that are interested in joining the Army. We will have an overview of our scholarship that pays for tuition, fees, and books as well as paying dental students a monthly stipend. We will also discuss opportunities for specialty training that are available to Army dentists. Qualified dentists that are interested in joining can take advantage of our accession bonus as well as our loan repayment. The Army is full of opportunity while doing the honorable service to treat those who sacrifice so much for our country.
Speakers
After this course attendees will be able to:
- Understand some of the opportunities available to dentists who are willing to join the US Army
- Utilize the knowledge of a current Army Dental Officer and Army medical recruiters as a resource for more information
- Compare some differences between a traditional private dental practice and a military practice
- Recognize opportunities with the Army Dental Corps are available to majority of dentists
- Determine if the Army is a potential option for them
