As Dental Hygienists, we are often the first to detect signs of systemic disease, yet too often our role is framed as solely oral care. This course challenges that perception and redefines our position as true healthcare providers, This course will offer you confidence and tools to act decisively when the mouth tells a bigger story.
Speakers
After this course attendees will be able to:
- Explore the role of the dental hygienist in identifying and addressing systemic health
- Recognize clinical signs that may indicate broader health concerns beyond the mouth
- Reevaluate current practice strategies to align with whole body health and prevention
