Dr. Joseph M. Montesano is a Periodontology resident and MMSc candidate at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where he researches novel implant systems and soft tissue alternatives for soft tissue augmentation. A summa cum laude graduate of HSDM and recipient of multiple national awards, including the The Patty and Paul Levi Research Award for Prevention of Periodontal/Peri-Implant Diseases, Dr. Montesano has presented on periodontal and implant therapy at regional and national meetings. He is passionate about bridging the gap between research and clinical practice, focusing on patient-centered approaches that enhance long-term implant and periodontal health, starting foremost with prevention.
