Esthetic dentistry has evolved over the years, and the black triangles have always been a difficult area to treat successfully, as well as diastema closures, cervical Cl5’s, Large Cl III/IV composites, fragment attachment, etc. This course will present injection molding techniques, matrix systems, and adhesion techniques, from 42 years of “real world” clinical experience in minimal invasive dentistry that will change the way you look at composites, adhesion, and tooth structure.
Speakers
In this course attendees will:
- Identify indications for treating black triangles and restoring complex anterior esthetics
- Select appropriate bonding agents and composite materials based on clinical indications and restorative goals
- Implement finishing and polishing protocols that enhance the esthetics, function, and longevity of anterior composite restorations
- Evaluate the use of diagnostic prototypes and lingual putty matrices to improve esthetic and restorative predictability
- Apply predictable techniques for direct composite closure of anterior diastemas involving teeth #8 and #9
- Recognize the indications and advantages of the TSS matrix system for restoring extensive Class III and Class IV anterior defects
