Artificial Intelligence in Dentistry: Insights from Leaders Across the Field
Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly influencing clinical decision-making, practice operations, insurance review processes, and patient expectations in dentistry. This expert panel brings together industry leaders in dental ethics, clinical innovation, practice management, and healthcare systems to examine how AI is currently being used across dentistry and how it should be responsibly evaluated and implemented moving forward.
Through discussion of real-world clinical applications, governance and ethical considerations, evidence, standards, payer implications, and implementation challenges, panelists will provide attendees with a balanced and practical framework for assessing AI technologies. Emphasis will be placed on preserving professional judgment, maintaining clinician accountability, ensuring transparency and trust, and preparing both practitioners and educational institutions for the evolving role of AI in dental practice.

- Describe current and emerging clinical, operational, and administrative applications of artificial intelligence in dental practice

- Discuss practical strategies for implementing and scaling AI tools in dental practices while avoiding common integration pitfalls
