Every patient wants a whiter smile, but there isn't a one-size-fits-all approach to whitening. In this course, we'll discuss how to evaluate different types of discoloration, choose the most appropriate whitening strategy, and incorporate whitening into comprehensive cosmetic treatment planning. Through real patient cases, attendees will learn practical techniques, common pitfalls, and how whitening can improve outcomes before veneers, bonding, and other esthetic procedures.

After this course attendees will be able to:
- Identify patients who are appropriate candidates for conservative whitening therapy
- Determine intrinsic and extrinsic causes of tooth discoloration to improve treatment planning
- Examine patient-specific factors, including sensitivity and existing restorations, when selecting whitening protocols
- Develop evidence-based whitening treatment plans for routine and complex esthetic cases
- Implement clinical strategies to reduce sensitivity before, during, and after whitening procedures
- Compare the indications, benefits, and limitations of various whitening approaches for different clinical presentations
- Review realistic treatment expectations and maintenance recommendations to improve patient satisfaction
- Incorporate whitening protocols that enhance outcomes prior to cosmetic restorative treatment
