At the conclusion of this course, attendees will be able to describe the dental hygienist’s role in minimally invasive caries prevention and management, recognize and assess early carious lesions, and apply caries risk assessment findings to individualized patient care. Participants will explore evidence-based treatment options that preserve natural tooth structure, support remineralization and caries arrest, and enhance patient-centered decision-making. The course will also review relevant dental codes used in minimally invasive caries management and their application in clinical documentation and reimbursement.
