After this course attendees will be able to:
- Describe the critical communication touchpoints between clinician and laboratory technician that determine esthetic outcomes in complex prosthetic cases
- Identify key laboratory considerations, including material selection, layering technique, and characterization that influence shade matching and translucency in anterior restorations
- Apply a structured workflow for digital and analog smile design that aligns clinical records with laboratory expectations
- Recognize common errors in case documentation (photography, bite registration, shade mapping) and their downstream impact on laboratory fabrication
- Evaluate criteria for selecting all-ceramic, zirconia, and feldspathic porcelain restorations based on esthetic demands and laboratory feasibility
