This course will focus on implant complications and their management with an in-depth exploration of implant-related complications, including their causes, prevention strategies, and effective failure management techniques. Additionally, attendees will gain a comprehensive understanding of grafting techniques with use of various grafting materials. Circumstances for removal will also be covered.
Speakers
After this course attendees will be able to:
- Identify common implant complications, understand their causes, and apply strategies for prevention and management
- Analyze various types of grafting techniques, including decortication, and select appropriate grafting materials for different clinical scenarios
- Manage implant failures and complications through evidence-based approaches
- Demonstrate proper techniques for socket preservation and guided bone regeneration (GBR) during hands-on exercises
- Integrate advanced management strategies for implant complications into clinical practice to improve patient outcomes
