When you ask your patients “how are you?”, how many answer “tired," mention that their partner says they snore or that their blood pressure has been creeping up for years despite their medication? Maybe, they even fell asleep in your chair. In the United States, 84 million adults may have obstructive sleep apnea – 3 out of every 10 adults – and eighty percent of those people are undiagnosed or untreated. They are going through their days exhausted, hypertensive, at elevated risk for heart attack, stroke, and cognitive issues. The dental team is positioned to change that, and this course will teach you how.
