Treatment of the masseter treatment with Botox® is in demand, yet many clinicians remain hesitant— uncertain about patient selection, appropriate dosing, and how to balance esthetic outcomes with masticatory function. This Masterclass provides a systematic approach to masseter tox therapy. Participants will learn which patients are good candidates, where injections should be placed, determine starting doses based on muscle assessment and treatment goals, and inject with precision to minimize functional compromise. The program emphasizes evidence-based protocols that account for anatomical variation, bite mechanics, and long-term patient satisfaction. You'll move from clinical uncertainty to reproducible competence—prepared to evaluate, dose, and treat masseter cases with clarity and confidence.


Hands-on treatment is limited to: Masseter


This course does not include treatment of: Temporalis or Muscles of Facial Expression

At the conclusion of this course the attendee should be able to:  

  • Identify the evidence-based indications for Masseter toxin treatment 
  • List contraindications and situations in which treatment should be avoided 
  • Discuss optimal dosing ranges, injection locations, and appropriate depth 
  • Describe the basic TMJ evaluation necessary prior to delivering toxin treatment
