Medical emergencies in the dental office are rare, but they can and do occur. Having your team prepared to handle emergencies will allow you to correctly manage patients in a safe and appropriate manner. Just like BLS and CPR training, if you do not practice, you forget. We will go through real life scenarios to sharpen and refresh your ability to treat the most common emergencies that can occur in the office.

- Assess patient risk and apply proper treatment planning principles
- Understand the complex medical issues that many patients present with in today’s practice
- Identify and avoid potential medical complications before they arise
- Ensure that you and your staff are prepared to deal with the most common medical emergencies that can occur
- Explain the need for “mock code” drills in your office
