We are all having to deal with an ever-expanding array of patients with medical issues as we see the population aging. Just when we think we understand things, they change the rules on us. BRONJ is Now MRONJ, Total joint replacement patients no longer need premedication. Patients on Coumadin and other blood thinners do not always need to stop their medications prior to dental treatment. We will discuss all of these issues and help to understand the science behind the current management protocols.

- Explain the complex medical issues that many patients present with in today’s practice
- Understand the recommendations for Prophylactic antibiotics for Cardiac and Orthopedic patients
