In this course, the instructor will discuss the vertical sinus lift protocol. Two protocols of the vertical sinus lift technique will be discussed and how these protocols are feasible due to the unique material characteristics of bone graft cement. Biological compatibility characteristics and clinical management of bone graft cement will be presented as a background to vertical sinus lift and additional clinical applications.

- Compare cement handling protocols
- Discuss clinical variability of bone graft cement
- Understand how and why vertical sinus lift can be achieved with bone graft cement, even in severe atrophy
- Examine vertical sinus lift with immediate and delayed implant placement
- Review the management of surgical complications with bone graft cement
