Somewhere in the practice is a number most owners and managers have never seen: the dollar value of treatment presented to patients that never made it onto the schedule. For a lot of practices, it's larger than a month of new-patient production, and it's sitting there right now, recoverable, without a dollar of marketing.
In this course, attendees will learn how to find that number and turn it back into booked treatment, with a framework that practices have used to lift case acceptance by as much as 20%. Learn how to measure true case acceptance, why patients who said yes still don't schedule, and why the tools most practices count on to win them back, recall reports, reminders, and mass texts, quietly fail at it.
See what actually moves the number, both when treatment is presented and after the patient walks out, and compare the real options for recovering it, including how one practice booked back nearly $70,000 in four months without a single new patient. Attendees will leave able to seize the opportunity hiding in their own practice and knowing exactly what it would take to capture it.
Speakers
After this course attendees will be able to:
- Measure case acceptance in their own practice, and understand why most practices can't improve it because they never track it
- Examine why patients still say no or delay after accepting a treatment plan, and how those moments quietly drive case acceptance down
- Recognize why the tangled data behind unscheduled treatment (treatment plans mixed with clinical notes, insurance, and half-finished care) makes it hard to know each patient's right next step, and how that gap costs the practice case acceptance
- Identify what a practice can do during appointments to increase case acceptance in the chair
- Distinguish what has to happen after the appointment to recover unscheduled treatment and protect case acceptance, and why that follow-up rarely gets done
- Evaluate why recall reports, remember software, and mass texts fail to recover accepted treatment and move case acceptance
- Compare the options for lifting case acceptance, from in-office team processes to AI and outsourced solutions, against the cost of acquiring new patients through marketing
The Codent AI grant has been applied to this course.
