This course will explore how Guided Biofilm Therapy (GBT) can be utilized to preserve natural teeth and dental implants through minimally invasive, evidence-based care. Participants will learn how to effectively integrate air-polishing systems and ultrasonic scale technologies into daily practice for the prevention and treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases. The course will review the biological and scientific principles underlying GBT, as well as its clinical indications, treatment protocols, and practical applications to improve treatment efficiency, enhance patient comfort, and optimize clinical outcomes.

After this course attendees will be able to:
- Identify the appropriate indications for air-polishing systems and ultrasonic scaler technologies in periodontal and peri-implant care
- Apply minimally invasive non-surgical treatment protocols for the management of infrabony defects around natural teeth
- Understand evidence-based approaches to effectively decontaminate dental implant surfaces affected by peri-implant diseases
