Created for the new Assistant, this course will familiarize your knowledge of current materials and/or techniques to provide better care for patients. The entire fixed prosthetic procedure will be reviewed with special focus on each step of the temporary process, including the acceptable criteria for any temporary crown. Regardless of the method used, any temporary must exhibit knifelike margins, proper contour, contact, and retention.
The ramifications of poor marginal fit, breakage, and occlusal discrepancies will be reviewed along with how to avoid them. Tips and troubleshooting from the audience will be interactive so all can leave with the skills to improve efficiency, enhance the patient's experience, and support the desired clinical outcomes.
