She practices biological dental hygiene at Green City Dental in Edmonds, Washington, and serves on the Board of the International Academy of Oral Medicine and Toxicology. Barbara is also co-founder of the BOOST Oral Health Institute, where she helps dental professionals move beyond traditional disease management and into root-cause, prevention-centered care. Known as the “Queen of Dental Hygiene,” she teaches clinicians how to connect the dots between the mouth, microbiome, host response, and whole-body health.
