is an associate professor and Community outreach coordinator in the Dental Hygiene Health Science & Career Programs at Malcolm X College, Chicago Illinois. Dr. Thompson practiced general dentistry in the North Beverly Hills area of Chicago for 20 years prior to pursuing teaching in the dental hygiene program at City Colleges. Currently she teaches Nutrition, Community Health, radiology lab and is the supervising dentist in the clinic. In addition to teaching in the dental hygiene department, Dr. Thompson is an adjunct clinical instructor at University of Illinois College of Dentistry.
Dr. Thompson is a fellow of the American College of Dentist and the International College of Dentist. She is a member of the Chicago Dental Society, served on the executive board and numerous committees.
