In this session, Dr. Alfe will show attendees how to evaluate what it is COSTING them to be "in network" with any of the dental benefits companies. Dr. Alfe ran a successful Fe-For-Service practice for 21 years. She made the conscious decision years ago NOT to be an overworked and underpaid serf for the "insurance" companies.
Attendees will leave with a better understanding of what contributes to their overhead costs and how to manage and improve them. This session is ideal for any practice that feels they are on the hamster wheel, trying to cram more production into a day, just to make a profit. It is also beneficial for those practices that are in just a few networks and are looking to move into an out-of-network or even Fe-For-Service model. She will provide the attendees a list of action items that they can implement immediately.
Speakers
After this course attendees will be able to:
- Compare their overhead percentages to the national averages and benchmarks, see where they fall, and WHY
- Create an action plan to extricate themselves from the insurance companies WITHOUT imploding their practices
- Recognize how much money they are losing every day that they are "in-network"
- Identify which data points they MUST know before making the decision to go "out of network"
- Understand why most dentists feel powerless to stand up to the dental benefits companies
- Implement the "Seven Steps to Financial Freedom". This is a proven step-by-step program that allows the offices to calmly & predictably drop as many plans as they choose, over time
- Recognize it's possible to take back control of their practice, maximize their profitability, and love going to work every day
The Clerri grant has been applied to this course.
