After this course attendees will be able to:
- Identify key risk factors for both caries and periodontal disease through the ADPIED dental hygiene process of care
- Understand and develop care plans that directly support each patient’s individualized risk factors for caries and periodontal conditions
- Recommend appropriate home-care products and daily habits that support remineralization, biofilm control, and overall oral health
- Communicate effectively and connect with empathy as you guide patients through their current health status and needed changes in care, using clear, supportive, and action-focused language
