This two day course will give attendees an opportunity to learn the skills used in forensic dentistry from the point of view of three active forensic odontologists. The hands-on portion of the course will simulate a "mass disaster" and allow attendees to be part of the mass disaster team, using dental records to identify decedents.

After this course attendees will be able to:
- Explain the history of Forensic Dentistry
- Examine the methods used to identify individuals
- Describe dental evidence
- Determine the role of the forensic dentist in the medical examiners office, law enforcement setting and in mass disasters
- Identify the importance of record keeping
- Understand WinID, NAMUS and NCIC coding
- Participate as a forensic dentist in a mass disaster situation
