Michael Patrick MacDonald is the best-selling author of All Souls: A Family Story from Southie and Easter Rising: A Memoir of Roots and Rebellion. He has given more than 300 campus lectures on the subject of his two books throughout the United States and also serves as Author-in-Residence and Professor of the Practice at Northeastern University’s Honors Department. MacDonald has been honored with an American Book Award, a New England Literary Lights Award, and a fellowship at the Rockefeller Foundation’s Bellagio Study Center. He is currently developing his memoir, All Souls, into a TV series and is working on his third book.
