Julián Conejo, DDS, MSc is the Clinical CAD/CAM Director at the Department of Preventive and Restorative Sciences, University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia PA, USA. He conducts research and has multiple publications in peer-reviewed scientific journals on CAD/CAM technology, prosthodontics and implant dentistry. Dr. Conejo has been the recipient of several awards in his field, to include the ICP Research Fellowship in Dental Restorative Materials in 2016 and has lectured in over 35 countries.

HIGHLY ESTHETIC CERAMIC RESTORATIONS: AN UPDATE ON THE LATEST MATERIALS AND WORKFLOWS FOR 2024


A step-by-step digital workflow to improve success rates on single and multiple-unit tooth and implant restorations will be presented. The main objective of this lecture is to show how treatment time optimization and better clinical outcomes are possible with the implementation of digital tools.

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • Discuss minimally invasive indirect esthetic treatment options with digital workflows on anterior and posterior teeth 
  • Understand clinical and laboratory steps with chairside CAD/CAM technologies 
  • Comprehend modern ceramic materials, their indications, and clinical protocols for long-lasting esthetic restorations from laminate veneers to onlays to implant restorations
