Dana Marzocco, DMD is a prosthodontist who maintains a private practice in New Hyde Park, New York. In addition, she is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Stony Brook School of Dental Medicine. She lectures on various topics including implant dentistry for continuing education.

This course will provide an introductory lecture on the concept of implant overdentures. Treatment planning, design and troubleshooting will be reviewed. 

Attendees will actively utilize Locator attachments and demonstrate techniques. Materials and components of the Locator system will be reviewed. This course will review step-by-step techniques for abutment selection, impression making and pick up of the Locator componentry. Techniques for troubleshooting will also be discussed. 

In this course attendees will:
  • Familiarize attendees with components of the Locator system
  • Discuss a selection of abutments and review design concepts
  • Demonstrate a chairside pick up technique of Locator abutments and select components
  • Review impression technique and associated componentry
