Savanah Carlson, is the Director of Member Services for the American Association of Dental Office Management (AADOM), overseeing the Member Services Team. AADOM provides educational and networking resources to dental practice management professionals as they strive to grow professionally while helping their practices grow. Savanah has been in the dental field since 2010, with expertise ranging from social media marketing to positive work culture and effective conflict resolution. Prior to taking a position with AADOM, Savanah was the office manager for Lund Dental Associates in Stoneham, MA. She started as the Patient & Social Media Coordinator, worked her way up to Assistant Office Manager, and eventually Office Manager. She successfully managed the areas of hiring and onboarding, creating and implementing the practice’s in-house membership plan, professional branding and marketing, HIPAA compliance, patient communication, and team training. Savanah successfully completed all three levels of the AADOM Designation program, receiving her Diplomate (DAADOM) in September of 2023. She was President of the Boston Society of Dental Managers (previously known as AADOM Boston) and developed the organization’s hybrid model virtual/in-person membership structure to ensure dental professionals around the country could collaborate with their peers. Aside from being a smile enthusiast and dental leader, Savanah encourages and motivates dental professionals to pursue their education and strive for excellence in their careers.

Jennifer Steadman, RDH is a hiring and transition expert that also specializes in business operations, team development, and communication. Her career has evolved from dental assistant to hygienist, practice manager, Director of Operations of a mid-sized DSO, to Director of Operations for Inspired Hygiene. In 2020 she was named AADOM’s Practice Administrator of the Year. After seeing fellow managers' challenges with the hiring process, managing through transitions, and going through changes of ownership herself, she founded Steadman Onboarding Solutions in 2022. She has navigated teams through positive practice transitions. She is committed to providing support to dental teams and fostering a culture of positive communication within the dental community. She finds fulfillment in assisting teams in their professional development and is dedicated to the success and growth of dental practices and their teams.
