speaker
Ryan Roosekrans, recently returned to Carestream Dental from the United Kingdom where he served as Managing Director of 360 Visualise Outpatient Diagnostic Imaging Centres. Prior to that, he spent four years with 360 Imaging managing two CBCT centers in Atlanta and a CBCT digital laboratory which processed CBCT scans arriving from throughout the USA. Ryan’s start in dental imaging was with Kodak Dental Systems as an imaging specialist, he spent nine years training practices around the world in comprehensive dental imaging. His digital imaging background not only includes a strong CBCT focus, but is well rounded with digital photography and records, and full 2D imaging expertise, too. Ryan’s unique background makes him a leader in CBCT in dentistry. He is a master implant planning technician in CS 3D Software, SimPlant, Straumann, and Nobel Clinician.

In this course, you will learn what the applications for CBCT are for a restorative practice, beyond Endodontics and Implant Planning. We will review ways to achieve a healthy return on the investment. You will learn the basics of how to read a scan and how to implement CBCT into your existing digital workflow. Most importantly, you will learn why you should have a plan in place to incorporate CBCT diagnostic capabilities in your practice.

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • Understand key limitations of 2D x-ray imaging
  • Determine the Field of View (FOV) needed now and in the future
  • Leverage CBCT to better understand which specialist to refer out to
  • Recognize why some CBCT models can update capabilities as needed and some can not
  • Review the basics of navigating a CBCT scan
