Jean Fallago, JD, LLM is is a Tax Attorney, speaker, author,appraiser, licensed Realtor recognized expert witness for Practice appraisals. She has a BS in finance, worked for Price Waterhouse as a Tax attorney before transitioning into Professional Practice Transitions. She also served in the esteeemed position of Probate Court Judge for 2 terms. She has more than 25 years experience in professional practice transitions and has served on the expert panel for several Yankee Dental Congress Courses.

Practice Transitions and Preparing your Practice for sale/partnership will give you a better understanding of decisions that you need to make and timing of the same, what you need to do to get your practice ready, what is involved in an appraisal, tax results to the parties, your transition options based upon the pool of buyers and the legal considerations involved in a practice purchase and sale.

After this course attendees will be able to:

  • Find out what the strategies are for timing
  • Determine financials the bank is looking at
  • Find out about the mechanics of an appraisal
  • Learn about who your pool of buyers are and what is your best match
  • Understand the legal considerations involved as a buyer and a seller
