Jean Fallago, JD, LLM is is a Tax Attorney, speaker, author,appraiser, licensed Realtor recognized expert witness for Practice appraisals. She has a BS in finance, worked for Price Waterhouse as a Tax attorney before transitioning into Professional Practice Transitions. She also served in the esteeemed position of Probate Court Judge for 2 terms. She has more than 25 years experience in professional practice transitions and has served on the expert panel for several Yankee Dental Congress Courses.

This course will provide either the buyer or seller with the necessary steps to take when purchasing or selling a practice or a partnership interest. Learn the process involved when you are ready to buy or sell a practice, the valuation factors, financing options, and legal considerations.  The detail is very important both to the seller and buyer when negotiating a transaction.

After this course attendees will be able to:
  • Discuss the process is to acquire a practice or become a partner
  • Understand the financing options for an acquisition vs. a partnership purchase
  • Recognize how a practice is valued
  • Explore if it makes sense to become a practice owner before or after my student loans are paid off
