People are falling asleep on the highway and causing fatal auto accidents. Millions of them are suffering from increases in high blood pressure, stroke, diabetes, and heart attacks. These people are your dental patients that have not yet been diagnosed and treated for sleep apnea. Dentists and dental team members can play a key role in treating sleep apnea. This practical course is designed to educate you on how to take records to begin treatment with oral appliance therapy – the right way. The dental team plays an active role in the process, so be sure they come with you to this life-saving, practice-building interactive course.

In this course attendees will:
  • Select the best appliance for each of your patients
  • Take accurate full-arch digital or analog impressions to fabricate a sleep appliance
  • Capture an accurate protrusive bite utilizing a novel instrument
  • Understand the proper device delivery protocol
This course is also offered on Friday, 1:00 - 3:00 pm, 531RH
Recommended Audience: Assistant, Dentist, Hygienist
