Anne Koch, DMD is the founder and past director of the postdoctoral program in endodontics at the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, where she maintains an adjunct faculty position. The founder and past CEO / President of Real World Endo, Dr. Koch is a member of the Board of Advisors for the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, as well as serving as a board member for CIPD (Center for Innovation & Precision Dentistry ) at Penn.

This course will confirm concepts that the instructor introduced during her previous lectures. The Blend Technique will be introduced clinically and a demonstration will be given concerning how to properly use heat-treated and non heat-treated files. All attendees will perform hydraulic condensation and will also have the opportunity to place a drill free post. Attendeess are encouraged to experience different techniques, including those associated with piezo electric ultrasonics.

In this course attendees will:
  • Properly use rotary files
  • Distinguish between heat treated and non-heated file techniques (Blend Technique)
  • Realize the benefits of working with a constant taper preparation
  • Recognize the multiple benefits of bioceramic technology
  • Understand hydraulic condensation
  • Place a drill-free post
